What is "independent living"?

Upon graduation from high school many young people leave home for post-secondary education, or to simply begin life as a working adult. Even while living at home there is a greater level of independence, which brings along adult responsibilities. Independent Living is a program that concentrates on the development of skills needed to live on your own. It includes a consideration of many things you may or may not have thought about. In this course, through several small units, we will make an effort to study the following through practical experiences.
